Our Story
Jubilee Connect is a podcast and community created to bring people together through honest conversations and stories that matter. Rooted in the biblical call to love—patiently, kindly, and steadfastly (1 Corinthians 13:4–13)—we exist to create space for dialogue that heals, inspires, and builds connection.
About the Host
Janelle is a thoughtful, community‑minded leader whose work blends creativity, organization, and a deep commitment to bringing people together. With a background in small‑business management, event planning, and brand strategy, she has spent years shaping spaces—both digital and in‑person—where people feel seen, valued, and inspired.
Known for her ability to listen deeply and communicate with clarity, Janelle approaches every conversation with empathy and intention. Her experience crafting meaningful programs, guiding teams, and designing impactful visual identities has equipped her to host dialogue that is both grounded and transformative.
As the creator of Jubilee Connect, she brings her passion for unity, storytelling, and faith to the forefront. Her work reflects a belief that love, understanding, and honest conversation can change communities. Whether she’s organizing a gathering, developing a brand, or guiding a podcast guest through their story, Janelle leads with integrity, curiosity, and a heart for connection.
Our Foundation
We believe in living out the greatest commandments: to ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:36-40) In addition we honor Jesus’ words in (John 13:34) to “love one another as I have loved you” as it shapes the way we listen, speak, and honor every story shared.

Whether you are listening for growth, healing, or inspiration, Jubilee Connect is a space where we come together to learn more about biblical principles though podcast series called "projects" each podcast will cover a different biblical topic. Our first podcast series is called Project Love. Join us as we learn, share, and grow together in our knowledge of the bible.
